New Robyn...Dream On Video

I LOVE Robyn, been down with her since I was about 12 (yep NZ was on her wayyy back), and she just seems to be getting better. Anyway this is her new video, Dream On off her upcoming album, dropping Nov 17th (a memorable day as twin' finishes her last exam...yayy).

Despite my intense love for gin, especially Tanqueray, I'm not talkin bout the get fucked up on a Sat night kind. This gin is of the sober kind. Gin Wigmore is the BADDEST bitch to come outta this lil country of mine in a while. Her voice is hella unique, some compare her to Macy Gray, but honestly, Macy don't have shit on Gin. And just for the fact that GIN is her name, I will buy every one of her albums till I die! She's just been signed and as you would expect the record heads have been eating outta her hand, so be prepared for her takeover...

I know it aint "hiphop" but you can't love music and not have an appreciation for this girl's voice..catchy as hell..{in the best Clinton Sparks impersonation}.."get familiarrr"

TV on the Radio are coming down under..

This is so uncanny, as today I was just meaning to post on these guys, and low and behold, the 2009 Big Day Out announcements come round and who is in the lineup?? TV ON THE RADIO...arghh, gasp, sigh, whatever, dope as fuuuck is what you call these guys. This dope group outta Brooklyn have definitely caught my attention this year.
